How to Apply - Undergraduate Students

I take on 2-5 undergraduates per semester. To apply to my lab, please contact Dr. Navara expressing why you are interested in working with us. Please include your current GPA and a resume or curriculum vitae (academic resume). If there is space in the lab, I will contact you for an interview.

Did you know that there is a way to get paid to do research in the lab? Our lab routinely participates in a program provided by the Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities at UGA, which provides students with a $1,000 stipend to do research in a lab!

In addition, The College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences hosts an Undergraduate Research Initiative that can provide a stipend of up to $500 to students working in labs within the college.
